The Community Input Meeting to discuss the Environmental Permit for the wind farm has been postponed.
The meeting was originally scheduled for this coming Sunday 07 February. A new date will be posted shortly.

Location: at the Firehall
Time: 5:00 pm and will run until 8:00 pm.
An information session for Community Members will be provided by the Anishinabek Nation (UOI).
The meeting is in regards to the upcoming ratification of the Anishinabek Nation Education Agreement with the federal government.

HIFN Leadership is preparing to settle the James Bay Railway Specific Claim Process with Canada. Through Canada's process, the settlement agreement has to be agreed upon by eligible voting members.
Please be advised that the cash distribution of the TREATY PAYMENTS for HENVEY INLET FIRST NATION will be held at the HEALTH CENTRE on Tuesday, May 10th, 2016 between the hours of 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

The ECE Worker reports to the Daycare Supervisor and is responsible for providing supervision and direct childcare to children attending the HIFN Daycare, in compliance with all regulatory standards required by federal, provincial and First Nations legislation, policies and procedures. Under the leadership of the Daycare Supervisor, the ECE worker will help to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for the children using a variety of teaching techniques in alignment with HIFN Daycare Philosophy.
