Community Services include:


Henvey Inlet Fire and Rescue / First Response : A night landing heliport is located behind our health centre


Police : OPP Britt, ON


Church : Kateri Tekawitha Roman Catholic Church


Water Supply : Water supply initially consisted of two pump houses for communal well service at French River #13, the Pickerel community, Henvey #2, Bekanon residents, have private wells.  A new water treatment facility is now operational in Pickerel.


Power Supply : Ontario Hydro indicates that single phase 14,400Kv service available in sufficient quantity to meet all anticipated needs.  If heavier 208 volt 3 phase electrical power is required it is available near Highway 69.  For the new multi-purpose building the current electrical service will have to be upgraded to 3 phase power.


Solid Waste Management : The on reserve dumpsite is now closed, a local contractor removes solid waste to Key River landfill.


Daycare :  A daycare was opened in 1999


Library :  A public library has been in operation since 2000 and offers the public access to books and other literary material, also internet access is available.


Schools :  Along with Magnetewan First Nation a transportation agreement was put in place to bus elementary students to Britt Public School and Secondary Level Students to Parry Sound High School.


Recreation : Outdoor Rink built in 1998, Baseball Diamond built in 2000, a playground was also constructed in 2004, the reserve also takes care of a small beach located on the South East side of Cantin Lake.  Over the past few years work has been done to make the beach a better place for people to enjoy.


Health Services :  Medical transportation is available for members to go to either Britt Nursing Station, Parry Sound or Sudbury.  The closest hospital is either in Parry Sound or Sudbury and the nearest ambulance service is located in Noelville.  Henvey Inlet First Response team is also dispatched for emergencies so that they can provide help and care to anyone in need before an ambulance arrives.
